Even I'll adore ya'...

[mega font whoops]

The above photo of Todd was shot in November 2001 with an Olympus Accura 35mm point-and-shoot. It was taken just outside a Tampa video store, no longer in existence. It's proof-positive that the right — or in this case wrong — font can make all the difference!

It's been an interesting week around here. In addition to my regularly scheduled mommy duties (and one son turning 18-months old, the other turning 7-weeks old) — I've also been moonlighting as nursemaid. Todd has been home since Tuesday with pneumonia. Fun, fun, fun. He's doing some-better now...but still pretty much looks and sounds (and well, ahem, smells) like death warmed over. Poor guy! And his already short-staffed department at work had a guy resign while he was gone, so next week there will be no rest for the weary.

Right now we're basically just counting the days 'til Sporty and her Meester get into town later in the month for some much-needed R&R. She hasn't been down here since a few weeks before the first son was born, so our drastic change in lifestyle should be cause for many a chuckle. Including our former, somewhat formal dining area that's now converted into a play area that could only be described as "Fisher Price threw up all in here".

Now onto something completely different...

Charles over at Sine Qua Non recently wrote with a small request. He's collecting donations for a Muscular Dystrophy Association charity drive here. His "bail" has been set at $2005, so please stop by help a brother out if you can!

Say, that reminds me...

Don't forget the 2005 Fourth Annual -Thon kicks off this October 1st. I'll be putting out the annual call for volunteers in early September, so watch this space if you're interested in helping out this year!

And since it's Friday, a coupla' tunes to help kick-start your weekend:

Repeat announcement:
To close, just a quick PSA and apology. It's only taken me two three days to get this entry together...and you should see my inbox right now (currently with 198 229 messages)... By all means, fire away with the e-mails as I love reading them and getting the 'adult conversation' when time permits. Just please allow for turn-around time. Lots and lots of turn-around time. I have good intentions on writing back I swear (and I'm sorry if you're still waiting to hear back from me), but unless you are the owner of one of these sets of cute little baby toes (or are the male owner of this fine derrière), unfortunately you don't get first-come, first-serve priority for the next few weeks. Please continue to hold...
