This past weekend I finally got my hair cut and highlighted / lowlighted. Ahhhh. Much better now. It's amazing how a brief spin in the stylist's chair can make you feel like a whole new woman, even if my perfume of choice these days is eau de spitup.

Has anyone out there tried these yet? I read about them in Glamour while in said-stylist's chair and I must say I'm intrigued. I'm somewhat of a dressing-klutz and always end up with deodorant marks on my shirt so if it actually works the product would be a godsend!

While we're on the subject of product reviews, I have to sing the praises of Avon's Re-Fine Stretch Mark Smoother. I'm very lucky that the stretch mark fairy was kind to me during both pregnancies. I got very few — and the ones I did get are fairly easily hidden. However, that still doesn't mean I want to look at them. After my first pregnancy I tried just about every cream, lotion and potion on the market from high-end to drugstore, and there's a reason I went through two tubes of this and just ordered my third following my most-recent pregnancy. It works! My son is now six weeks old and the redness is already starting to fade from daily use. Before I got pregnant with him, most tell-tale signs from our first son were no longer visible. So I say grab it while it's on sale!
