The above photo was taken last month at a newborn photo session I did. He's the bouncing baby boy from this previous maternity session.

Holy cow - seems it's been over a month since I last updated this blog! I've been doing a little better at keeping my Flickr account updated, but this is the "busy season" as a photographer. I'm up to my eyeballs in proofing, holiday photo sessions, custom Christmas card creation, and print orders.

Not that I'm complaining. Business is good. I'm just still trying to find that balance and do the juggling act any mom of two toddlers faces when launching her own company.

I'm really looking forward to that post-holiday lull in sessions. I just don't think I'll be able to keep up at the same pace in 2007. And for the sake of my family, friends, and - most importantly - children, I'm rather looking forward to just being "me" again for awhile. Me. Not using Photoshop. Playing in the great outdoors. And catching up on e-mail and blog reading.

I hope everyone has a blast tomorrow stuffing themselves full of turkey, dressing, and inhaling gravy like it was a beverage. Please do your best to look away when our Bucs take the field against the Cowboys. It won't be pretty. This is a year I'm rather thankful I was raised a Cowboy fan first and foremost. It will make the annual Thanksgiving Day game a little less painful.
