The above photo was taken during a recent holiday 'beach photo' session. I did the baby's newborn session as well.

Somehow I managed to get two card orders to my lab by late this afternoon which allowed me to take advantage of that rare thing called "free time" during the boys' naps...for the first time since I can remember... This means I am now one order away from being done for 2006 (which is being placed this weekend as they had a 'late-date' session).

Done. As in finished. As in I can actually fill out and mail my own holiday cards instead of just making everyone else's all pretty-like. As in I might make it to bed before 3 a.m. in the upcoming week. As in I can actually put up our Christmas tree, because this is the first time in my entire life that I've gone into the second week of December without one set up - even when I had infants two Christmas seasons in a row. Do you possibly know what this means, man?

I'm tired. I'm cranky. I'm another year older since I last blogged here. I need something with massive amounts of rum inside.

I've written about five paragraphs of things to say in this entry that I've instead hit the backspace key on and self-censored myself.

So instead of just being yet another rambling mommy-blogger today, how about I give you a few photography links and we'll call it even?
