This weekend was a bit insane between being mommy, wife and 'Thon coordinator. We cracked open a nice, refreshing drink Friday night to celebrate the end of our remodeling projects — only to have all of the kitchen / dining lights and one of our DirecTV satellites go out the following day. Seems the contractor who installed exterior lighting on either side of the garage bumped something in the attic and everything went a bit haywire shortly thereafter. He made an emergency visit last night to check out the damage, and he's going to require the help of an electrician to fix things it seems. So they are both coming back tomorrow afternoon, in addition to a DirecTV tech. More workers all up in my grill and throwing off the kids' naptimes for yet another day... Oh. Joy.

The oldest is really getting into Blues Clues lately. Todd and I have both found ourselves on more than one occasion wandering through the house singing the mail-time song and such. Soon I expect to find myself answering his questions with three blue paw-printed clues. Yesterday, Todd discovered this new Orlando hotel after a feature in the St. Pete Times. I fully expect we'll be making a stop there later this winter when the youngest is old enough to deal with it.
