And they're like, it's better than yours

[my near future]

The above photograph was digitally altered using the "Dooce Effect™" in Photoshop. It's of my new t-shirt from Fortune Tee (located here). You can see a recent pic of me in the shirt here — and compare how much my big ol' Buddha belly has changed since January 18th.

Without even realizing it, I started this entry today showing off my new shirt only to see Dooce had done the same with another tee when I stopped by her site to get instructions for The Effect™. Oh well. Mine's cooler and I had blogging shirts first. So nyah.

Speaking of Dooce (because c'mon, can you really be a blogger and not)...we were both a part of the Blogger Match Game v5 over at Mikey's yesterday. However, I would like to point out just for the record that until I married Mr. Blister in the Sun — I did, in fact, have a tan. Thankyouverymuch!

And speaking of the Mister, he sent me a cool link yesterday that he found over at thedigitalphotographyweblog. "The SimCam: Film and Digital Camera Simulator" allows you to try out various shutter / aperture settings to give you a better idea of shutter speed and f-stop settings and what they all mean. Something I definitely need to get a better hang of!

And now, your moment of zen...
