The above photo is to torture you as we have been tortured the last couple of days. I made a few dozen Nestlé Toll House cookies on Sunday and they won't stop calling our names!

You know the year is going to start off right when one of your closest friends surprises you with their big wedding news! Since we ran off to 'do the deed' ourselves — I can't think of a better way for them to begin their lives together!

Here's a snippet of a poem read at our nuptials that's always meant a lot to me:

Marriage deepens and enriches every facet of life.
Happiness is fuller,
memories are fresher,
commitment is stronger,
even anger is felt more strongly,
and passes away more quickly.

Marriage understands and forgives
the mistakes life is unable to avoid.

We wish the new Meester and Meeses all our best!
