The photo above was taken with a Canon PowerShot G3 way back in December 2002.
You know why the angels were rejoicing on high the very first Christmas? Because they realized it wasn't necessary to send out holiday cards and gifts for the original event... All they had to do was float around up there singing, and let Mary do all the hard work.
So pardon me as I do my victory dance because save picking up a $10 gift card to Starbucks with my next Peppermint Hot Cocoa and the few unavoidable "oh , I forgot..." moments I am done. D. U. N. Done. <insert fork>
Cards mailed. Check. Gifts bought. Check. Presents wrapped. Check. Send husband to stand in line at the post office for you and mail off the gifts that need it. Check.
I am the first-time mother of a 10-month old who didn't just finish on time, she finished early. Hear me roar!
Now if I could just get the cards and such out for friends' birthdays that passed back in August...and answer all of my e-mail that's stacked up since October...you'd really be impressed...huh?
Someone please wake me up when it's time to unwrap stuff, mmmk?
My new entry is up over at Tampa Bay DotMoms, by the way. Behold the power of TiVo!
