The above image is a photo-collage made from a recent newborn session of mine. That baby boy reminded me so much of my oldest as a newborn, it was like stepping into a time-warp.
You may have noticed things were a little wonky around here yesterday. That would be me...forgetting to renew my domain in a timely manner... Whoopsie. They got their money without having to bust so much as a single kneecap and we are now free to return to our regularly scheduled snark.
Yesterday morning I gathered up all the many years of logins and forwarded 'em onto Mel so she can begin the process of getting the 2007 blogger Boobie-Thon underway. October always has a way of sneaking up on me each year. I can't believe it's almost time! Make sure to follow things over at "thirtyo.com" so you're ready to volunteer now that she's put the official call out.
I'm taking the entire month of September off to enjoy my kids and our new home (13 days left - but who's counting) and this is on tap during the lulls of unpacking to prepare for the holiday-session rush soon to follow "Understanding Histograms". I'm really bad about ignoring them and, well, that's not a good thing. Really looking forward to giving my blonde brain a new challenge... You know, because two moves and two closings in two months with two toddlers won't have been enough of a challenge to keep my thought processes occupied.
And because it's Friday and I'm stuck on the couch sick with a cold (which probably means my scheduled newborn session isn't happening tomorrow as planned - oh joy) watching an endless Dora-loop on Noggin while my husband gets to watch "The Bourne Ultimatum*" with his coworkers as a 'team-building exercise' (me? bitter? nah!) I'll pass along a great time and budget-waster. It's my new favorite site: spoonsisters.com
Put your credit cards on lockdown. You have been warned!

*for those keeping track with the home-game, this is the last movie I saw in the theaters
UPDATE: My "two under two" self-portrait of me with the boys from St. Patrick's Day 2006 (titled "the day I know for certain that my 2-year old learned to say oh sh!t") just made the Photographer Directory Blog.
