The photo at left (please click image for larger pop-up) was taken this weekend during our son's first trip to the local punkin'patch. As you can see, it was very sincere.


Today is a very special day in our household. As told storybook-style here a couple of years ago — this day, October 19th, is not only the day I met my husband — but also the day he got down on one knee and proposed with a twist-tie. It also would have been our wedding day if we hadn't decided to run off to N'awlins instead...

It's hard to believe I've officially known my husband for a dozen years now! But it's nice knowing, still, after all these years that the best is yet to come...
