This afternoon while I was putting the baby down for his nap, I had on the Weather Channel for company. It's what I do, being a weather geek and all. They put up the map at left (click for larger pop-up) tracking the progress of Frances so of course I paused TiVo to come back and take a photo for posterity. The red arrows were added in Photoshop by yours truly.
I was not aware that Tampa had moved out into the Atlantic ocean along with Jacksonville, putting us smack dab in the center of the storm's path. That's it. We're all screwed. Good thing I still have some of that Zima left!

UPDATE: Forgot to mention that it was well after 7:30 p.m. before Todd made it home this evening, thanks to his lovely commute up I-75. If they don't cancel work for him tomorrow...our son very well may have his father home again just in time for his college graduation.
