As mentioned previously, we took our son to the Magic Kingdom over the weekend. Not only did he get to meet the Mouse himself, but he also got his first set of ears (click image at left for larger pop-up), and he got to meet his friend Michael Jr. from Texas who was born last July.

It was a very busy weekend around here! In addition to Disney, we had our son's 3-month old portraits made on Sunday afternoon. I honestly can't believe he turns 3 months today! The time has just flown. You can't even blink it seems or another week has passed...

And things only promise to get more and more busy in the days ahead. His Grandma Vicki makes her first trip out since the birth this coming weekend, we'll all spend Mother's Day together, and his Grandma Rhonda makes her first trip out since the birth the weekend after that. We just thought he was spoiled rotten before now! Wait until he's had two straight weeks of Grandmas.

I never dreamed last Mother's Day that not only would I be a mother myself this year, I'd already have a 3-month old in arms!

Life has a funny way of working itself out in God's timing. I'm really glad I decided to stay on the roller coaster... I wouldn't trade the ride for anything.
