The above photo was taken last weekend at a maternity session I shot here in Orlando. To say she has that beautiful pregnancy "glow" would be a major understatement...
*tap, tap* Is this thing on? Long time, no blog, huh? It's hard to imagine there was once a day when I would make 10-12 entries from sun-up to sun-down. What the hell did I write about anyway? Certainly I couldn't have had that much to say. Nevermind blog entries, I do good to speak 12 coherent sentences a day since I've had children. Iambic pentameter. Wameter.
In case you missed the memo, we got a new addition to our family last month. Her name is Princess Amélie Margarete (name history here) and she's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We found her breeder through the AKC and I can't recommend Sandy at Alba Acres enough. Her puppies are in perfect health and are the finest of their breed. More puppies are up for adoption in April, so if you live in Florida and have been considering a new pet, contact them! The testimonials more than speak for themselves.
As for the rest of the "filler" between 02.07 and today, including another legal settlement following the theft of another photograph of mine and yet another wretched Valentine's on the fifth anniversary of the last, just visit the first few pages of my Flickr stream to catch up. That's the one place I did manage to update, save a few random Twitters now and again.
And now, a moment for us...
I try not to be political on my blog, but seriously. We may have screwed things up in Florida back in 2000 but our electorate did it right this time. I'm sorry that the Democratic Party got their panties all up in a wad over the date of said-vote, but what makes them think they have the right to force us to vote yet again? Our votes were certified. Our votes were valid. We, The People, meant to select the candidate on the ballots that were cast the first time. If our election wasn't valid, we wouldn't have a new state Amendment.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this next vote won't be held on their precious Super Tuesday either. So what's the point? It's not like we're just picking Homecoming Queen here.
I will vote again because I want my vote to COUNT. But I did it right the first time, along with 1.7 million other Floridians, thankyouverymuch.

Until next time...
I'm never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
