This week has been insane. One of those weeks I'm pretty friggin' thankful there's a holiday-weekend sittin' there at the end of...

The oldest son got his acceptance letter into Pre-K private schooling on Thursday. It's a big leap for our family, but one we feel very excited and confident about. Now the potty-training nightmare can commence. We've been letting him go at his own pace (which means no pace) all this time — however we now have an 8/16 deadline looming overhead or he can't go to school. I think they frown on high school athletes wearing Pull-Ups anyhoo, so it's probably for the best.

We found "THE HOUSE" here in town last weekend, pre-qualified for the loan, and spent two full days working out a bid on it (that was accepted with many, many incentives on their part) - only to learn that someone somewhere didn't get their facts straight and the builder doesn't do contingency bids. <insert our local real estate agent turning into a pitbull on our behalves here> So... We either have to sell our house in Tampa Bay ASAP (ha!) and pray that one is still there when it does, or hope another in that subdivision is open when we can saunter back in and plonk our equity down as a downpayment, or "Plan C" which is go back to the drawing board. And we all know how I love to draw.

I finally got to serve two-weeks notice to the Tampa Bay realtor we affectionately refer to as and let him know that after our contract expires on June 1st, his services will no longer be needed. Do you know that @#$%er won't let us out of contract until MIDNIGHT on June 1st. Not even end of business. Oh no. He's waiting until 12:00 a.m. on the dot day-of. (As if he's going to be on our front lawn taking the sign down then.) So even though that's our anniversary weekend, we are heading to the house so we can toss his yard signs aside and remove the doorknob if need-be to get that lockbox off.

Thanks to HomeGain we found another Tampa Bay realtor we almost want to move to Utah with and start a new life together. She actually, oh say, keeps in touch and seems to care. This coming Sunday she'll be shooting images for the video tour and will have her listing (and sign in the yard) ready to go first thing on June 2nd. I have high-hopes for her. And that's saying a lot in this Florida market.

I'm eyeball-deep in the pre-release of "Design Five" for my Fit to Print site. This one even comes with a "bonus pack" for the first time.

And last but certainly not least, I got the good news on Tuesday that I'm not going blind. Well, at least yet... And there was much rejoicing.

So yeah. There's a bottle of Malibu that has my name ALL over it come Friday night. Hope everyone has a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!
