The above photo was taken during bathtime on January 25, 2005. It is becoming quite apparent that my son shares my rubber ducky obsession.

I had quite the shock earlier today. I opened up an e-mail from Michele titled "is that robyn?" with a link to the "Yahoo! Netrospective: 10 years, 100 moments of the Web" — celebrating the Yahoo! search engine's 10th birthday. And if you scroll down the far-left column, fourth row from the top (31. weblog - right there above Bob Hope) you just might recognize that mug staring back at you (example 1, example 2).

That photo was taken back on August 8, 2003, by an AP photographer. I blogged about it on ATPTB (link 1, link 2, link 3) back in the day. It accompanied this article that appeared in several newspapers nation-wide.

But to see it on "10 years, 100 moments of the Web" out of all the blogger photos they could have possibly chosen. Ummmm. Well. Whoa. Thanks to everyone else who wrote with the heads-up this afternoon!

Sidenote: The main thing I remember about that photo shoot is that I was very barely pregnant with our son when it was taken. I was just starting to show but we weren't ready to make that fact public yet, so the photographer was very careful to shoot me accordingly. And I was sick as a dog with morning sickness that day. I'm honestly surprised my skin-tone wasn't green in the color print!
