It's not nice to fool Mother Blogger
The photo above was taken in our backyard with my Nikon D70. I've photographed these berries several times over the years (example 1, example 2, example 3 - taken with a Minolta Dimage E201 and example 4 - taken with a Canon PowerShot G3) but no one has ever successfully identified their name, other than "berry" and "poisonous". (UPDATE: Behold the power of the Internet! We have a name! Christine has identified them as Purple Beautyberries / Callicarpa americana. Thank you!)
This section of this post has been edited: In all the years of designing combined, Sekimori has never been stiffed on a payment. Until now. You think it would be 'the little guy' that was brave stupid enough to tango with the Queen of the Internet™. But oh no. It was a 'big blogger' who decided to do the deed. In the backdoor. Sideways. So designers out there, let that be a lesson to you. Always take at least a deposit upfront. It doesn't pay to be nice and trusting. You can't use the honor system with those who have no honor. Unfortunately for Sekimori, the soup de jour was Fuh-Qu. Fortunately for [name since removed], what goes around does eventually come around and screwing your own doesn't exactly play well in the Blogosphere.
