This is my last chance to get political here until the next national elections in 2006 so please pardon me in advance, but I can't let all those political science hours on my degree go to waste, now can I?
Last night we took our son to his very first Presidential rally in Tampa. An estimated crowd of 10,000 was on hand to see Senator John Kerry (photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4).
I also took the time to snap a few of my favorite bumper stickers from the evening.
1. "Twit Happens"
2. "Bush '04 - 4 More Wars"
3. "I Don't Have to Like Bush to Love America"
4. "Fire the Liar! Vote Democrat 2004"
Several of them were from a site I'd yet to discover called seeyageorge.com. I wish I'd known about this site a few weeks ago, because this one at left so would have graced my auto-mo-biiile! I also finally managed to snag some swag and buy one of those Kerry armbands last night. Last but not least, for a bit of entertaining reading today...if you haven't been here, or just haven't been here in awhile...stop by "The Complete Bushisms". Because apparently "[our President's] job is to, like, think beyond the immediate".
But no matter what party you choose to affiliate yourself with, VOTE! Otherwise you have no right to complain for the next four years, regardless of the outcome tomorrow!
