Todd was on his way out to grab lunch this afternoon, and came flying back through the door with, "QUICK! Grab your camera!" I followed suit, to find this not-so little guy soaking up some shade under the Jetta.

At first he was a little apprehensive about having us there and started to take off in the next-door neighbor's lawn. But after awhile he realized we meant him no harm, and stopped to graze and eat (and dare I say, "pose") while I snapped up twenty-four photographs.

It's one of the great things about living next to a nature preserve. You always seem to have a new subject...
